After working in the equipment
rental business for 20 years each, BI Equipment Rental was started in
1993 by Ed Skala and Steve Dowling purchasing a small rental business
located at Vermont and California Avenue in Blue Island, Illinois. The
next five years saw the business grow at our present Alsip Illinois
location at 4021 West 127th Street.
This was a very successful move
for our Alsip location; our market area grew and in May 2002, a second
BI Equipment Rental location was established at 13747 West 159th Street
in Homer Glen, Illinois (formerly Lockport, Illinois). This location
provides additional convenience and service to our customers.
BI Equipment Rental's philosophy
is to provide service and satisfaction to our customers. Therefore, we
are open seven (7) days per week. The Alsip location is open 6:00 AM
Monday through Saturday and 7:00 AM on Sunday. The Homer Glen
(Lockport) location is open from 7:00 AM Monday through Saturday and
7:30 AM on Sunday. We offer a complete delivery service; delivering one
on of our 5,000 pieces of inventory from back hoes, Bobcats to Party
Canopies.
Steve or Ed are always on the
premises at our Alsip location to answer any questions you may have.
With their 60 years combined experience they're most likely going to
have an answer or just some friendly advice for your next project.
Again, customer service and
satisfaction is our goal and we provide the assistance you'll need to
make sure that you have the right equipment to do the right job.
Rental
Service Policy
1) Know your rates. You are
charged for time out NOT time used. Day rates are based on 24 hours
periods.
2) Metered equipment rates are
based on 8 hours of use per day.
3) Tire damage is the
responsibility of the customer.
4) Fuel and transportation
charges are an extra fee.
5) You are responsible for the
care, safety, and security of the equipment. Equipment must be returned
clean and in good working condition.
Prices are subject to change.
Cash Customer
As a general rule deposits are
equal to twice the anticipated rental charge. The deposit can also be
placed on a Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover card.
Credit Customer
Charge accounts may be applied
for by filing out a credit application.
Delivery Service
Delivery is available 7 days a
week on all of our equipment. Charges vary based on the piece of
equipment and the distance traveled.
